County Commandant
Col K (Kim) J Knutton holds the post of County Commandant and is responsible for the management of the County as a whole. In addition to the daily management of discipline, welfare and operational issues affecting the County his position also involves close liaison with members of the wider military and civilian communities, including the Regular & Territorial Army; Ministry of Defence and a spectrum of local community associations and representatives.
Col Knutton from Tamworth has served with the Army Cadet Force for 37 years 5 of these as a cadet. In his long outstanding service Col Knutton has been a Detachment Commander of Rugeley, Abbots Beyne and Tamworth.
Moving in to a Company position he has held various appointments including DofE Officer, Training Officer, Adjutant, Company Commander and Deputy Commandant before taking the post of Commandant in January 2010.

Col Knutton worked for a local Nursery in the Midlands and later B&Q in the South of England before moving on to become a self employed Landscape Designer over 30 years ago
Col Knuttons wife Eileen also runs a small successful Cafe Bistro in Tamworth.
Col Knutton is thoroughly devoted to his ACF career which ultimately takes up a huge amount of his spare time, he was very active on the sporting side of life especially in the 70's where he played professional Rugby.
