Army Cadet Force Music Presentation
The National Senior Drum Major Jessica Pugh who attends Stafford College was presented with a new mace during the National Cadet Music Camp, held at Longmoor in Hampshire during the half term. The Annual music event attracted over 300 drummers and musicians from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Jessica (17) from Rugeley took part in the week-long camp which included expert military music tuition together with normal APC training, and included target rifle shooting and sports competitions. Cadets also had the opportunity to complete sections of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and BTEC (Music) qualification.

Staffordshire and West Midlands (North Sector) Corps of Drums meet at Site 4 MOD Beacon Barracks, Stafford on Wednesdays 1700 to 2100.

The unit is actively seeking new members aged 13-18 along with Adult Instructors. Prior musical or military knowledge is not a requirement as full training will be provided free of charge.
