Venue: Rjukan Norway. JSAT Winter Climbing Foundation (WCF).
When: 10-17 March 2012
Details: This primarily is a multi-pitch ice climbing experience course however candidates will be trained and assessed for the Winter Climbing Foundation (WCF) qualification. It is an ideal course for developing climbing skills and a unique opportunity to gain invaluable logbook experience towards higher-level qualifications.

CADET VISIT TO BAVARIA 2012
Venue: Ortwang, Bavaria
When: 24th August – 2nd September 2012
Details: The trip is sponsored by HQLF, Youth & Cadets Branch and is open to Cadets and young Adults at DofE Gold. The trip is aimed particularly at participants who are not able to join a DofE Expedition Team. Applicants should be fit, mature and responsible people who will be good ambassadors for both the DofE and the Cadet Forces. Assessors and Supervisors are also required for the visit. Although there is an established team, I welcome bids from other suitably qualified Adults who would like to accompany the trip.
