Visit of local MP Mr David Kidney

Local MP Mr David Kidney visited the Outreach programme run by Staffordshire & West Midlands (North Sector) Army Cadet Force. The second week of the programme was held at Swynnerton Training Camp during the weekend 17 – 19 April 2009.

Mr Kidney had an opportunity to talk to the students from Kingsmead School in Cannock.

Mr Kidney had an opportunity to talk to the students from Kingsmead School in Cannock, who were now being taught how to live out in the field along with other Military subjects.

A group photograph was taken away by all the students at the end of the first weekend.

The first weekend of the Outreach programme was held at Upper Fleet Farm in the Leek Moorlands, here the students participated in a number of Adventurous Activities including Canoeing, Kayaking, Mountain Biking and Climbing.
